- Hussain Sagar is a lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in 1562, during the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometers and is fed by River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992 stands in an island in the middle of the lake.[1] Maximum depth of the lake is 32 feet.

To vist to Hussain Sagar first you need to go to lumbini park from their you need to catch the cruse to see buddha statue
you can see buddha statue from lumbini park also but for closer view you need to catch the cruse will will cost you around 55/- cruse will take to to the center of hussain sagar lake and will drop you to buddha statue you can stay their for 10-15 min take photo and get back to the cruse which will drop you to the lumbini park
